Qualifications

• Doctorate in music or minimum Master’s degree in music with 4 years of college teaching experience and active professional performance experience
• DMA (Clarinet Performance) preferred
• University teaching experience preferred
• Degree or certificate/cognate/minor in music theory

Responsibilities

• Teach applied clarinet, music theory, and related duties as assigned by the chair
• Participate in recruitment, retention and advising and be an integral part of a vibrant department
• Collaborate with ensembles and contribute to a strong performing and educational program
