Qualifications

• Master’s degree in music or related field is required.
• A doctorate is preferred.
• Commensurate professional experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a studio of undergraduate- and graduate-level clarinet students.
• Teach studio classes and coach chamber ensembles.
• Possibly teach orchestra literature, pedagogy, and related courses.
• Participate in departmental meetings, recruitment activities and auditions, doctoral committees, and recital hearing committees.
• Support faculty recitals, outreach activities, master classes, and service on Jacobs School of Music committees.
