Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree in compatible area of Social Sciences or equivalent; ability to teach successfully; demonstrated scholarship or achievement; ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.

Responsibilities

  • Teach 4–5 courses per year (18 credit hours).
  • Mentor and advise both undergraduate and graduate students; work with MA students.
  • Develop and contribute to curriculum in Black Studies and Social Sciences.
  • Build community partnerships and engage with external communities.
