The successful candidate will develop a sustainable, externally funded research program, contribute to scholarly work, and mentor undergraduates and graduates while engaging in service to the department and university.

Qualifications

• Must have earned PhD in Biomedical Engineering or closely related discipline at time of appointment.
• Strong potential for high-quality instruction and mentoring at undergrad and grad levels.
• Demonstrated ability and/or potential to provide service to the Department, University, and profession, with diverse student/faculty engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop a sustainable, externally funded, internationally recognized research program.
• Contribute to teaching and mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students.
• Participate in institutional and professional service; collaborate across teams and departments.
