Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Biology. The appointee will help grow the MS program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching and research in molecular biology, cancer biology, microbiology or physiology.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D., pursue externally funded research with undergraduates and graduates, and demonstrate commitment to inclusive pedagogy and mentoring

Qualifications

• Ph.D. required with postdoctoral experience preferred.
• Develop a funded research program involving undergraduate and graduate students.
• Teaching experience is required; innovative, evidence-based, and inclusive pedagogical practices are preferred.
• Must meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at time of appointment.

Responsabilités

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Biology and related fields.
• Develop and lead a funded research program involving undergraduate and graduate students.
• Mentor and support students, including first-generation scholars, in research and coursework.
