Washington and Lee University's Biology Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning July 1, 2027. We seek an integrative biologist with teaching excellence and a productive research program involving undergraduates.

Responsibilities include teaching five courses per year and contributing to our growing Data Science Minor. We offer startup funds, conference funding, and pre-tenure leave, with strong mentoring and teaching support.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biology or adjacent fields required.
