The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor.The successful candidate will establish an independent, externally funded research program and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise. Candidates in the broadly defined area of biochemistry/biophysics, including computational biochemistry/biophysics, are encouraged to apply.

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is part of a thriving R1 research institution, offering a stimulating environment for interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. Faculty balance research, teaching, and service with a typical teaching load of one course per semester. The department provides a collegial and supportive environment for faculty development.
