Qualifications

• PhD in Biochemistry or a closely related field.
• Three years of university/college teaching experience (tutoring alone does not qualify).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person and/or online biochemistry courses.
• Participate in course development and evidence-based pedagogy.
• Demonstrate teaching approaches that promote success for diverse student populations.
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours and provide instructional support.
• Supervise learning assistants to promote engagement and assessment.
• Attend and contribute to program staff and faculty meetings.
