Responsibilities
  • Develop and teach lecture and laboratory courses in physics and physical science, both in-person and online.
  • Maintain high standards of instruction and employ innovative teaching methods to support student success.
  • Mentor undergraduate students in research projects.
  • Hold office hours and be responsive to student inquiries both in person and electronically.
  • Actively serve on university committees and participate in institutional meetings.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and review processes to ensure alignment with academic goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Teaching workload: 60% teaching, 20% scholarly activities, 20% service.

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field.
  • Teaching experience in college physics.
  • Strong commitment to undergraduate education.
