Qualifications

• PhD in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or Sociology (with a concentration in Criminal Justice or Criminology) is required. ABD with PhD completed by appointment will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Sociology and Criminal Justice courses, online and in the classroom.
• Teach Writing Intensive courses.
• Develop and deliver engaging instruction using diverse modalities.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to undergraduate students.
• Maintain an active research agenda in the discipline.
• Participate in university service, curriculum development and campus initiatives.
• Contribute to community-engagement with the local community and region.
