Qualifications

• Terminal degree required by August 2027.
• State licensure eligibility for Art K-12.
• Experience teaching in Art Education at college/university level.
• Minimum three years of Visual Arts teaching in K-12 settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach and design undergraduate and graduate art education courses.
• Maintain an active, ongoing research agenda with peer‑reviewed outputs.
• Serve as Area Coordinator for Art Education and participate in governance.

Education

Terminal degree (PhD or EdD) in Art Education or related field

BFA, MA, or MFA in Studio Art or related discipline
