Job summary

New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in the New Jersey School of Architecture (NJSOA). The candidate will teach design studios, core courses, and electives while developing a strong research program that integrates architectural design with emerging technologies and sustainability. A Master’s in Architecture (or equivalent) and a professional license or Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s in Architecture or a Bachelor’s in Architecture with a Master’s in a related field.
• Must possess a professional architectural license and/or a Ph.D. in architecture or related field.
• Teaching experience in studio and core courses is preferred (building construction, professional practice).

Responsibilities

• Teach design studios, core courses, and electives.
• Develop and advance a research agenda strengthening NJIT’s position as a research university.
• Contribute to the NJSOA in Newark through collaboration and scholarly activities.
