Job summary

The Ohio State University’s Knowlton School invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in Architecture, with start as early as Autumn 2027. Qualifications

• Terminal degree (MArch, PhD, or equivalent) completed by appointment start date.
• Disciplinary recognition via publications, exhibitions, funded research, awards, or invited engagements.
• Record of high-quality teaching at graduate/undergraduate level with teaching portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate high-quality and inclusive teaching; contribute to curricular development; advise/mentor students.
• Develop an original, coherent program of scholarly/creative work; disseminate via recognized venues; achieve national/international recognition.
• Contribute to school governance, recruitment, faculty activities, and service.
• Demonstrate growth across teaching, scholarship and service with annual reviews; tenure review normally in year six.
