Job summary

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture (M.Arch or international equivalent) or a related field.
• Demonstrated capacity for excellence in design studio teaching.
• Evidence of an active research or creative practice agenda in architectural theory and design.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate design studios as a core component of the architecture curriculum, integrating design inquiry with theoretical, social, environmental, and/or technical perspectives.
• Contribute to required and elective courses in architectural theory and related areas, with opportunities to engage questions of design, human and environmental well-being, sustainability, and the broader social, cultural contexts of architecture.
• Develop and sustain a program of research and/or creative scholarship with a clear trajectory and potential for national or international impact.
• Participate in service to the School, College, and University, including interdisciplinary collaboration across allied fields such as landscape architecture, interior design, and planning.
