Job summary

Wichita State University’s Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Animal Ecology. The candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, develop a productive research program, and engage in service to the university and profession.

We welcome researchers focusing on vertebrate or invertebrate systems and encourage use of the WSU Field Stations in teaching and research. The appointment begins Fall 2027 on a 9‑month contract.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate levels.
