Job summary

The Rutgers University Accounting and Information Systems Department at Rutgers Business School invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning in the academic year 2027-2028. Ph.D. or ABD is required.

Candidates will conduct research in Accounting or Information Systems and teach courses at both Newark and New Brunswick campuses with a 12-credit annual teaching load. Engagement in service activities as determined by the department and school is expected.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or ABD required for tenure-track appointment.
• Research in Accounting or Information Systems.
• Willingness to teach undergraduate and graduate courses on Newark and New Brunswick campuses.
• Demonstrated potential for departmental and school service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in Accounting or Information Systems.

• Engage in service activities as determined by the Department and Rutgers Business School.
