Job summary

Olympus Tents and Events is seeking a dependable Tent Crew Member to assist with the installation, dismantling, delivery, and pickup of event tents and rental gear. You will work with a site supervisor and team to load, transport, and set up equipment for events.

The role involves warehouse duties, equipment maintenance, and helping maintain safety standards while delivering high-quality service to clients and venues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, install, dismantle, and pick up event rental equipment including tents, flooring, tables, chairs, lighting, lounge furniture, and other equipment.
• Load and unload rental equipment such as tent tops, poles, sidewalls, frames and fittings, flooring systems, and additional gear.
• Operate delivery vehicles (pickup trucks, trailers, box trucks).
• Assist with warehouse operations: pull orders, organize inventory, maintain equipment, clean rentals.
• Maintain all rental items to company standards and keep warehouse clean and organized.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Site Supervisor and alongside other crew members, the Tent Crew Member is responsible for the safe and timely installation,

dismantling, delivery, and pickup of event tents and rental equipment. This position

involves loading and unloading equipment, transporting rentals to event locations,

setting up event equipment, and returning items to the warehouse after events.

Crew members play an important role in ensuring events are completed efficiently,

safely, and professionally while maintaining Olympus Tents and Events standards for

customer service and quality.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver, install, dismantle, and pick up event rental equipment including:

• Tents
• Tent flooring
• Tables
• Chairs
• Lighting
• Lounge furniture
• Other event rental equipment

Load and unload rental equipment such as:

• Tent tops
• Tent poles
• Sidewalls
• Frames and fittings
• Flooring systems
• Additional event equipment

Operate delivery vehicles including:

• Pickup trucks
• Trailers
• Box trucks

Assist with warehouse operations including:

• Pulling rental orders
• Organizing inventory
• Equipment maintenance
• Cleaning and preparing rentals for future events

Maintain tents, tables, chairs, and all rental equipment to company standards

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work environment, including

delivery vehicles

Assist with installation, dismantling, and servicing of temporary structures and

industrial tenting systems

Safely operate equipment and tools including:

• Hand tools
• Power tools
• Forklifts
• Extended-reach forklifts
• Other installation equipment as needed

Follow company safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions at all

times

Interact professionally with customers, venues, vendors, and team members

Perform additional duties as assigned

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This position involves both outdoor field work and warehouse work. Employees will work

in a variety of environments and weather conditions throughout the state of Utah.

The role is physically demanding and requires:

Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of heavy equipment

Extended periods of standing and walking

Repetitive bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and transporting materials

Exposure to outdoor elements including heat, cold, wind, rain, and sun

Employees may also be exposed to:

Gasoline

Diesel fuel

Propane

Cleaning solvents

Other equipment-related materials

The position requires constant awareness of safety procedures and regular interaction

with customers and the public.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in tent installation, construction, event rentals, warehouse

operations, or delivery services preferred but not required

Forklift experience is a plus

CDL is a plus but not required
