Job summary

Classic Tents is seeking individuals to assist with the setup of tents, tables, and other rental equipment in Norcross, GA. The role requires lifting heavy equipment and working outdoors in variable weather conditions. Applicants should have a high school diploma and be able to lift between 20 to 40 lbs consistently. Experience in construction or outdoor field work is preferred, along with a willingness to travel and the ability to work 7 days a week. Benefits include health insurance and paid time off.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Assists with set-up of tents, tables, chairs and other miscellaneous rental equipment.
• Works in outdoor environment under different weather conditions.
• Lifts and moves heavy equipment.
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Operates forklift and other equipment as needed.
• May perform warehouse duties such as picking and returning equipment to assigned locations.
• May clean and maintain rental equipment.
• Positive team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, go getter willing to do what it takes to get the job done right.
• Receive and execute instructions from crew leaders or the Operations Manager.
• Often works outdoors and in all weather conditions such as heat and cold.
• May occasionally work in a warehouse/indoor environment that does not have air conditioning.
• Regularly wears safety attire or uses safety equipment, such as vests, masks, gloves, etc.
• May work in close proximity to other people.
• May be exposed to loud or distracting sounds or noise levels.

Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Must be able to lift approximately 20 to 40 lbs. consistently; occasionally up to 70 lbs.
• Clean driver’s license is helpful but not necessary.
• Must be available for work 7 days a week.
• Starting times will vary.
• Out of state travel with 1 or multiple overnight stays.

Preferred Experience:

• Construction or other outdoor field work experience
• Three months tent installation experience is a plus.
• Bi-lingual/ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
