Job summary

Big Island Tent in Hawaii seeks a Tent and Event Specialist (Part Time/Weekends) to help with event setup and teardown of tents, tables, chairs, lights, and staging. You will assist the operations field crew with delivery and pickup across island locations, and you will clean, maintain and prepare heavy equipment in the warehouse.

The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, standing for long periods, and reliable transportation. No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• No experience required for the role.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to Kamuela and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event set up/take down of equipment (tents, tables, chairs, lights, staging, etc).

We are looking for individuals who can:

• Help with event set up/take down of equipment (tents, tables, chairs, lights, staging, dance floor, etc).
• Assist operations field crew in delivery/pick up of equipment to island wide locations.
• Clean, maintain and prepare heavy equipment in warehouse (tents, tables, chairs, dance floor, etc).

MUST LIVE WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF WAIMEA/KAMUELA. Work is mostly on the west side (Kona is a possibility).
