Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is seeking a Tensioner Technician I to maintain the tensioner machining equipment, perform tooling adjustments, and help ensure quality parts. The role requires basic troubleshooting, ability to read prints, and readiness to operate up to four production lines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Zero to two years related experience.
• Basic problem solving or troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read a part print and use basic measuring tools such as calipers, mics, microscope.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tensioner machining equipment, including tooling adjustment and presetting.
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues and ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Read part prints and operate up to four production lines as required.
• Maintain daily productivity while ensuring quality parts are produced.

The Tensioner Technician I will maintain the basic daily operation of the primary tensioner machine(s). This position will ensure the machine is making a quality part while meeting the desired productivity rate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain tensioner machining equipment example: tooling adjustment, presetting, and pm etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues
• Maintain quality of the parts
• Ability to check parts to meet quality standard
• Ability to read small quality testing equipment example: calipers, mics, microscope, etc.
• Ability to read a part print.
• Ability to run one line at a time

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
• Zero to two years related experience.
• Basic Computer Skills
• 5s experience
• Basic problem solving or troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work with a team.
• Ability to run up to 4 lines.
• Position require excellent planning and organizational skills, extreme attention to details and significant computer skills.
• Position requires weekends as needed with 24-hour notice.
