Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is seeking a Tensioner Technician I to maintain the tensioner machining equipment and ensure quality parts while meeting productivity targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, up to two years of related experience, basic computer skills, and a team-oriented mindset. Weekend shifts may be required with short notice; benefits and paid time off are offered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tensioner machining equipment, adjust tooling and presets.

• Ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Read part prints and measure with calipers, mics, microscope.
• Run one line at a time.
• Participate in housekeeping and 5S practices.

The Tensioner Technician I will maintain the basic daily operation of the primary tensioner machine(s). This position will ensure the machine is making a quality part while meeting the desired productivity rate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

• Maintain tensioner machining equipment example: tooling adjustment, presetting, and pm etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues
• Maintain quality of the parts
• Ability to check parts to meet quality standard
• Ability to read small quality testing equipment example: calipers, mics, microscope, etc.
• Ability to read a part print.
• Ability to run one line at a time

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
• Zero to two years related experience.
• Basic Computer Skills
• 5s experience
• Basic problem solving or troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work with a team.
• Ability to run up to 4 lines.
• Position require excellent planning and organizational skills, extreme attention to details and significant computer skills.
• Position requires weekends as needed with 24-hour notice.
