San Antonio Country Club's Tennis Shop is seeking a friendly Tennis Shop Staff Member to uphold a professional, welcoming environment for members and guests.

You will assist with tennis and pickleball equipment, apparel, footwear, and merchandise, answer questions, and help maintain a clean, organized pro shop. Responsibilities include opening/closing, stocking, and processing daily sales with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Preferred tennis experience or experience in a tennis pro shop.
• Meticulous and detail oriented.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service to members and guests.
• Assist members with tennis and pickleball equipment, apparel, footwear, accessories, and other merchandise.
• Inform and answer questions regarding pro shop products, programs, events, and department activities.
• Develop a positive relationship with members and provide a high level of customer service; resolve member concerns and escalate when needed to the pro shop manager.
• Assist with opening and closing the pro shop; maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance; ensure merchandise is displayed, priced, and stocked.
• Assist with daily sales transactions, cash handling, POS operations, and end-of-day procedures.

Reports To: Director of Tennis and Tennis Shop Manager

Qualifications:

Preferred Tennis experience or have worked in a tennis pro shop. Meticulous and detailed oriented person. Accounting experience is not necessary but desired. Must have basic computer knowledge.

Role Description:

The Tennis Shop Attended is expected to maintain a professional, welcoming, and organized environment that serves as a positive representative of the Tennis and Pickleball department.

Member & Guest Service:

• Provide a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service to members and guest.
• Assist members with tennis and Pickleball equipment, apparel, footwear, accessories, and other merchandise.
• Inform and answer any questions regarding pro shop products, programs, events, and department, activities.
• Develop a positive relationship with members and provide a high level of Customer Service. when asked help resolve members concerns and bring issues required management attention to the pro shop manager.

Pro Shop Operations:

• Assist with opening and closing the pro shop at schedule.
• Help, maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance throughout the shop.
• Ensure merchandise is properly displayed, sized, priced and stocked.
• Assist with daily sales transactions, cash, handling, POS operations, and end-of-the-day procedures.
