Job summary

Elmhurst University is inviting applications for a graduate assistantship for the 2026-2027 academic year. The position is a student role within the athletics department, offering a stipend and a full tuition waiver in exchange for 20 hours of service per week, primarily during the Fall and Spring terms (January and Summer terms possible).

The program supports selected graduate studies, including MBA and MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and requires admission to a degree program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and Division III athletics preferred.
• Recruiting skills and interest preferred.
• Previous teaching experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Aids the Head Coach in planning, organizing, and evaluating all phases of a competitive tennis program.
• Coordinates recruitment of student-athletes.
• Oversees an inventory of equipment and its distribution.
• Coordinates team travel arrangements for the program.
• Attends practices and team planning sessions with coaching staff.
• Maintains NCAA compliance and supports other athletic department activities.
