A leading organization in promoting tennis seeks a Tennis Pro Shop Attendant at the Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch. This part-time role involves assisting with bookings, customer service, and maintaining shop operations. Ideal candidates should possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and preferably a background in tennis.
Who We Are
We are Tennis! The United States Tennis Association (USTA) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the recognized leader in promoting and developing the sport’s growth on every level in the U.S. The Hawaii Pacific Section is one of 17 geographic Sections of the USTA. Incorporated in 1973, the Hawaii Pacific Section embraces over 7,800 individual members and 109 organizational members in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Marianas. In addition, the Hawaii Pacific Section is further comprised of four Community Tennis Organizations: Kauai, Maui, East Hawaii & West Hawaii. The Hawaii Pacific Section is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to carrying out the goals of the national association within its region, particularly with respect to promoting tennis opportunities for juniors and adults of all abilities and all cultural backgrounds.
Who You Are
Skills/Knowledge:
Outstanding organizational and administrative skills
Excellent written and communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Proficient using the following types of equipment: computer, telephone, printer and Square credit card transaction machine
Preferred to have a tennis background and understanding of the sport
Education/Experience:
High school degree or equivalent

The Role: Tennis Pro Shop Attendant
Location: Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch / Lahaina, Maui, HI
FLSA Status: Part Time
Reports To: Pro Shop Manager
Working Conditions: The majority of work is performed indoors, and may require time outdoors when clearing courts or during events.
Work Hours: 19 hours or less a week (includes some weekend work)
