Job summary

St Andrews Country Club Property Association in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a facilities attendant focused on tennis and pickleball court care. You will operate carts, maintain surfaces, adjust nets, and manage water systems for daily play and events.

The role requires experience with hydrogrid/hydrocourt and irrigation basics, plus ability to handle cleaning, repairs, and lightweight maintenance tasks across the tennis facility.

Qualifications

  • Operates electric servace cart, gas cart, heavy roller and other light equipment to sweep and roll courts, haul materials, debris, tools and supplies.
  • Cleans, brushes, relines and levels tennis court surfaces daily and whenever needed sweeps courts for events, lessons and social play.
  • Changes nets and net posts when necessary. Checks height of nets daily.
  • Cleans and maintains bottled water bins, towel valets, soda machine, cabanas, stadium seating and all other viewing areas.
  • Operates power equipment such rollers, large brooms and gas blowers.
  • Repairs fences, windscreens and gates courtside.
  • Add water, ice and towels to all water cooler bins/towel valets during and at the end of shift.
  • Check and retie any loose windscreens on all courts.
  • Pick up all used towels from the used towel bins / towel valets around facility and also from the Tennis Shop used towel bin and take to the Laundry Room just prior to shift end.
  • Maintains, cleans, repairs sprinklers and water supply lines to the watering system.
  • Maintains pickleball courts and area. Must keep surface clean of debris and pressure wash lightly when necessary.
  • Keeps cart barn area and shed clean and organized.
  • Empties all trash or waste can bins when necessary.
  • Maintains courtside drainage system and performs other job-related duties.

  • Collect towels from bins and laundry area before shift end.
  • Maintain sprinklers and water lines; hydrogrid/hydrocourt facilities upkeep.
  • Maintain pickleball courts and clean surface debris; pressure wash when needed.
  • Keep cart barn and shed organized; manage waste and drainage.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly

Position Summary

Responsible for the diverse range of activities involved in the care and maintenance of the tennis courts, pickleball courts and the overall tennis facility. Must be semi-skilled in irrigation work and other maintenance repairs.

Qualifications

The employee frequently is required to walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance. Employee must be flexible and must be able to bend over and pick up balls at an accelerated speed during and following a lesson. Employee must be capable of running and hitting balls with a tennis racquet with both hands for at least five hours per day.

Employee must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Education & Work Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D. but not required. Must have experience in working with tennis courts, and in particular, clay courts and hydrogrid/hydrocourt facilities.
