Job summary

Qualifications include knowledge of tennis rules and gameplay, plus CPR/AED/First Aid certifications. Prior coaching or playing experience is preferred, and the role is part-time seasonal within Parks

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of tennis rules and gameplay.
  • Possession of, or the ability to obtain, CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
  • Experience coaching or playing tennis is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead tennis lessons, drills, and matches for youth and adults.
  • Instruct players on tennis techniques, footwork, and sportsmanship.
  • Develop age-appropriate lesson plans and submit supply requests for equipment.
  • Verify courts are hazard-free and monitor weather for safe play.
  • Explain program expectations and share schedules and equipment information with families.
  • Maintain tennis equipment and facilities to ensure proper upkeep.
  • Attend pre-season orientation and required staff trainings.

Skills
