Job summary

The University in Greencastle, Indiana seeks an Assistant Tennis Coach to assist with day-to-day coaching duties, recruitment, and mentor student-athletes. Responsibilities include compliance with NCAA III rules, coordinating practices and competitions, and supporting academic progress.

Under the direction of the head coach and Director of Athletics, you will help coordinate transport and lodging for team travel, contribute to budget management, and participate in ongoing program development.

Qualifications

• Mentor student-athletes to balance athletics and academics.
• Arrange transportation and lodging for team travel as directed.
• Administer a fiscally sound athletics program.
• Evaluate program effectiveness under supervision.
• Monitor student-athletes' academic progression.
• Perform other duties as assigned by athletics leadership.

• Along with the head coach, Implement and execute a comprehensive recruiting plan for the identification and recruitment of qualified student-athletes, and maintain an acceptable roster per the University
• Along with the head coach, develop and implement plans and strategies for practices and competition which result in athletics success.
• Mentor student-athletes to ensure athletics and academic success.
• At the direction of the head coach, make transportation and lodging arrangements for team travel
• Administer a fiscally sound athletics program.
• At the direction of the head coach, evaluate program effectiveness.
• At the direction of the head coach, monitor student-athletes' academic progression.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics or head men's and women's Tennis coach.
