Job summary

Ellen Kennedy Living Center in Iowa seeks a part-time Tenant Associate to support tenants who may require oversight due to impairment. You will assist with daily living activities, encourage independence, and help with activities and medications. Rotating shifts include 2nd and 3rd with weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma strongly preferred.
• Must have a valid state driver's license.
• Must be 18 years old as required by State regulations.
• Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required with recertification every other year.

Position Purpose

The Tenant Associate at Ellen Kennedy Living Center is responsible for assisting tenants who are functionally, physically, and/or socially impaired and may need continual oversight.

What You Will Do

• Assist tenants with daily living activities while fostering their independence and freedom of choice
• Assist with activity programs and administer medications
• Light baking/continental breakfast set up, serve meals, cleaning and laundry.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma strongly preferred.
• Must have a valid state driver's license.
• Must be 18 years old as required by State regulations.

Hours Available
