Job summary

Leidos in Alexandria, VA seeks a Tenable RHEL ACAS Administrator to operate and maintain the DISA J6 Pentagon’s ACAS program, requiring an active Secret clearance. You will administer RHEL, tune scanners, deploy tools, and report findings to leadership and customers.

The role covers STIG compliant updates, Nessus/Nessus Manager configurations, and monthly scans, with strong teamwork across the NCR and DoD guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years IT experience including RHEL, Tenable SC and Nessus in DoD env.
• Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI possible) and DoD 8570 IAT II certification required.
• Currently or able to obtain RHEL certification within 6 months of start.
• Hands-on RHEL administration and troubleshooting across multiple zones/networks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Tenable ACAS on RHEL servers for DISA J6 Pentagon.
• Provide performance tuning and troubleshoot Tenable components.
• Install updates to Tenable software in STIG-compliant way.
• Deploy, maintain and tune Tenable scanners and Nessus managers/agents.
• Develop and manage Tenable scan configurations and reports.
• Conduct scans and deliver detailed reporting to leadership and customers.
• Investigate false positives and track findings to resolution.
