Job summary

General Dynamics IT is seeking a Network Integration Lead to support the Army TEN-M program. This is a remote position with 25%–50% travel; you must reside within 50 miles of a major airport and be ready to coordinate across multiple teams.

As part of the team, you will oversee activation of fiber routes, configure 5G Core, manage optical networks, and validate interfaces with Government systems, delivering services with proper documentation.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree; additional years of experience may substitute.
• 15+ years of network configuration management with emphasis on 5G.
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience.
• Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activation of newly deployed fiber routes and integration into the optical transport network.
• Configure and integrates 5G Core network functions, transport systems, and IP network infrastructure.
• Manage DWDM and ROADM configuration, optical power alignment, transponder turn up, and end-to-end lightpath provisioning.
• Coordinate with construction, OSP, QA/QC, and NOC teams to ensure the fiber plant is validated and services are brought online with proper documentation.
• Validate interfaces between network components and Government systems; perform system acceptance testing and troubleshooting.
• Develop integration procedures and ensure interoperability between vendor platforms, complying with customer security and operational requirements.

This is a remote position and requires 25% to 50% travel; you must reside within a 50-mile radius of a major airport

As the Network Integration Lead, you:

• Oversee the activation of newly deployed fiber routes and their integration into the existing optical transport network.
• Configure and integrates 5G Core network functions, transport systems, and IP network infrastructure.
• Manage DWDM and ROADM configuration, optical power alignment, transponder turn up, and end to end lightpath provisioning.
• Coordinate closely with construction, OSP, QA/QC, and NOC teams to ensure the fiber plant is validated, optical equipment is correctly tuned, and all services are brought online with proper documentation and minimal service impact.
• Validate interfaces between network components and Government systems, performs system acceptance testing, executes troubleshooting activities, captures logs and packet traces, and supports optimization and closeout activities.
• Develop integration procedures, validates interoperability between vendor platforms, and ensures compliance with customer security and operational requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS/BA Degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• 15+ years of network configuration management experience with emphasis on 5G technologies and understanding of the duties as described above
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience
• Secret Clearance
