Job summary

General Dynamics IT seeks an RF Network Engineer to support the Army TEN-M program. This is a remote position, but you must reside within 50 miles of a major airport and be prepared for 25–50% travel.

You will strengthen operational readiness by ensuring reliable wireless, 5G, satellite, and communications capabilities, and expert management of the electromagnetic spectrum for mission-critical command, control, training, and contingency operations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 15+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains wireless, 5G, satellite, and communications capabilities in response to mission requirements.
• Supports determination and management of operating radio frequencies from the allocated electromagnetic spectrum for U.S. Army.
• Determines and manages specific operating radio frequencies throughout the allocated electromagnetic spectrum for U.S. Army, including survey and propagation studies.
• Establishes other frequency requirements for command, control and contingency communications.

As the RF Network Engineer, you

strengthen the Army’s operational readiness by ensuring reliable, advanced communications capabilities. You also expertly manage the electromagnetic spectrum to support mission‑critical command, control, training, and contingency operations.

• Maintains wireless, 5G, satellite, and communications capabilities in response to mission requirements.
• Supports the determination of, and management of, operating radio frequencies from the allocated electromagnetic spectrum for U.S. Army.
• Determines and manages specific operating radio frequencies throughout the allocated electromagnetic spectrum for U.S. Army to include survey, design, propagation studies, optimization, live and simulation events and electronic countermeasures training missions.
• Establishes other frequency requirements for command Control and Contingency Communications.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: BS/BA Degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Required Experience: 15+ years of related experience
• Security Clearance Level: Active Secret Clearance
• Location: Remote
• Travel: This position requires 25% to 50% travel, and the candidate must reside within a 50-mile radius of a major airport
