Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of prior experience in the logistics field.
• Proficient with MS Office, Windows OS, email and internet usage/research.
• Data entry and the ability to manipulate data with precision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently while managing multiple projects/tasks/systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal and external emails timely and in a professional manner.
• Communicate with vendors and airlines requesting information as needed.
• Create, review and send pre-alerts to other offices or agents and confirm receipt of alert.
• Communicate with other departments on issues or for additional information needed to carry out your job functions.
• Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous tone.
• Receive all shipments that arrive into the warehouse by performing a depot scan using our TMS.
• Ensure that all shipments are labelled and packaged securely.
• Create manifests using current TMS and ensure they are closed with accurate information.
• Create escalations for shipments off track and assign to the escalation team.
• Create ½ bookings into TMS to LAX office of incoming flights when alerted.
• Review and action incidents timely.
• Confirm collections for all areas of NYC when dispatch is not available.
