Marshalls at The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a temporary Utility Maintenance worker for the A/Day Shift (Mon-Thurs, 5am-3:30pm) with potential overtime.

The role performs basic tasks, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient building operations, assisting maintenance mechanics as needed. Responsibilities include following safety rules, operating equipment, troubleshooting, completing daily paperwork, and supporting repairs and installations per safety

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Must be available to alternate shifts and overtime as needed.

• Work in compliance with all TJX best practices, safety rules and regulations in accordance with federal, state, and local municipalities
• Ability to operate powered equipment, safety devices, or other specialized equipment
• Ability to use computer software, training software, etc. (do we have to list all software)
• Assists in troubleshooting, parts replacement, adjustments, and lubrication.
• Complete all required paperwork for each day and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assists maintenance mechanics in equipment repairs and installations in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Identifies the need for supplies and equipment as necessary.
• Performs special projects or duties as assigned.
• Vocational training in basic preventative maintenance practices preferable

Job Description

Performs basic tasks, minor repairs, and preventative and building maintenance to ensure safe and efficient building operations. Assists maintenance mechanics in routine troubleshooting and repairs.
