MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Laborer/Groundman to support outdoor telecom construction projects, including FTTH, conduit and manhole work, trenching, and pole operations.
Travel is required, with five weeks on and one week off to Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado. DoW SkillBridge participation is encouraged. Compensation ranges from $20 to $26 per hour, with higher rates for CDL holders, reflecting experience and responsibilities.
As a Laborer/Groundman, you will support aerial and underground outside plant (OSP) telecommunications construction projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Work may include fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) installations, conduit and manhole construction, trenching, plowing, horizontal directional drilling (HDD), micro-trenching, vacuum excavation, cable pulling and blowing, aerial construction, pole work, and drop installation, depending on project requirements and terrain.

Compensation of $20-$26 per hour ($28-$30 per hour with a valid Class A CDL), depending on the experience.
