MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Laborer/Groundman to support outdoor telecom construction projects in a dynamic environment. You will assist with trenching, fiber, pole work, and material handling, while prioritizing safety and quality across sites in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
Qualified candidates will hold a valid driver’s license, be able to lift up to 70 lbs, read maps/diagrams, and have or be willing to obtain DOT medical clearance.
As a Laborer/Groundman, you will support aerial and underground outside plant (OSP) telecommunications construction projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Work may include fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) installations, conduit and manhole construction, trenching, plowing, horizontal directional drilling (HDD), micro-trenching, vacuum excavation, cable pulling and blowing, aerial construction, pole work, and drop installation, depending on project requirements and terrain.

Compensation of $20-$26 per hour ($28-$30 per hour with a valid Class A CDL), depending on the experience.
