Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate required.
• Formal academic courses/training in child development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in routine supervision of students throughout the school day within the school building and/or worksite.
• Assists students with social behavior, self-care, toileting, feeding, grooming as assigned.
• Supports students during instruction in one-on-one or small groups and helps implement plans.
• Observes and manages student behavior in various settings and gathers performance data.
• Follows AACPS policies and participates in professional development as provided.
