Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram guidance.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Experience with IBM cash registers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, unpack cartons and totes; stock in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build and display merchandise.
• Stock and rotate merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases.
• Take payments and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Maintain store cleanliness and set up sidewalk displays when needed.
