Job summary

Masemp in the Greenfield, MA area is seeking a Staff Accountant for a temporary 4-month assignment. You will maintain financial records, reconcile accounts, assist with month-end close and produce journal entries, while supporting AP/AR and internal controls.

The role offers $28.00-$33.00 per hour, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with hands-on manufacturing accounting experience and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Equivalent experience considered.
• Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
