Cranford Public Schools seeks a Leave Replacement Special Education Teacher for Middle School at Hillside Avenue School. This role focuses on delivering inclusive, data-driven instruction to Students with Disabilities within a small-group setting.

The incumbent will implement IEPs, monitor progress with data, collaborate with families and professionals, and adapt curricula to meet diverse learning needs throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• Appropriate NJ State Certification: Teacher of Students with Disabilities.
• Knowledge of evidence-based strategies to support diverse learners.
• Knowledge of innovative instructional strategies in a small group, special education setting.
• Knowledge of data collection practices and progress monitoring.
• Ability to modify the curriculum based upon individual learning styles.
• Experience collaborating with parents, administrators, child study team members, and other professionals to develop IEPs.
• Ability to guide classroom assistants to support individualized student needs and foster inclusive environment.
