Job summary

Blue Shield of CA seeks a Project Manager, Principal to oversee end-to-end operational and technology initiatives within the Pharmacy Benefits, Claims, and Network Operations team. You will coordinate across vendors, IT and business stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver large-scale programs in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or high school diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Requires 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Requires extensive experience leading complex cross-functional programs and projects involving operations, technology, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Requires proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, prioritize competing demands, identify risks and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies in fast-paced and highly regulated environments.
• Requires deep knowledge of project management disciplines, including project planning, governance, stakeholder management, change management, issue resolution, executive communications, and resource coordination.
• Requires experience working with external vendors and internal teams to drive accountability and ensure successful delivery of initiatives related to operational readiness, regulatory mandates, vendor assessments, and large-scale implementations.
