Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Westminster, MD is seeking a Security Officer/Guard for full-time on-site assignments. The role includes access control, foot patrols, and camera monitoring on client sites, with a temporary start date of August 18, 2026.

Qualifications

• Prior security experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable working with computers.
• Must pass our drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Responsibilities

• Security Officers observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

Wage: $19.00/ hour

TheSecurity Officerposition helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
