Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in School Counseling is required for this role.
• Experience as a school counselor in an Independent school is preferred.
• Classroom experience developing and teaching SEL lessons is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing academic, emotional, and social challenges.
• Serve as a resource for students navigating transitions, stress, and coping strategies.
• Respond to immediate student concerns with crisis intervention and referrals when necessary.
• Develop and implement programs to promote mental health, resilience, and well-being.
• Lead workshops on conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and stress management.
• Collaborate with leadership to integrate SEL into the curriculum.
• Engage with faculty and families to support student needs and foster partnerships.
• Act as a crisis response team member, following protocols during emergencies.
