The worker operates trucks, performs cleaning duties and trains new employees. Other responsibilities include bookkeeping and report preparation. This position does not supervise other employees.

Responsibilities

• Weigh vehicles, move traffic safely and give customers directions.
• Maintain records of all charges for billing, collect fees and balances with reports, and make deposits.
• Prepare reports, including waste tire count, recycled paper reports and end‑of‑month totals.
• Serve as a laborer, operating dump truck, water truck and pull magnet; pick up litter and clean area around scalehouse.
• Train new scalehouse employees in landfill procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
