Job summary

University of Washington is seeking temporary, hourly Classroom Aides (CAs) for the Enrichment Saturday program on the Seattle campus. Shifts run 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, with up to four classes per Saturday. You will support instructors, manage supplies, supervise students, and assist with setup and cleanup.

Role requires high school graduation or equivalent with clerical experience, and you must be 18+. Orientation and ongoing trainings are part of the program, with hours recorded bi-monthly in

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent and two years of clerical experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old by start of the program.
• Available for all class sessions, trainings and orientations.
• Must attend orientation and professional development sessions.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Enrichment staff with daily set up and break down of classrooms and supplies.
• Assist with instructional activities, demonstrations, and hands-on projects as directed by instructors.
• Supervise students and maintain a safe, structured classroom environment.
• Escort students between campus locations during class changes and take attendance and report absences.
