Ph.D. in food safety or food microbiology and 5 years of experience working in microbiology laboratories.
Knowledge in foodborne pathogens and spoilage microorganisms; routine microbiological and chemical analytic skills; sufficient trainings for working in Level II biosafety laboratories.
Prolonged standing or sitting; frequent reaching and bending; tolerance to PPE, operate microbiological and chemical analytic equipment, visualize color differences, and lift 20-40 lbs.
