Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's license; temporary position limited to 1300 hours or 12 consecutive months.
• Up to two years of job related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Experience in combustion, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
• Strong math skills and ability to learn complex engineering concepts.
• Strong mechanical design & analysis.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas.
• Application of engineering principles, codes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, installation and testing of systems and components.
• Develop engineering project schedules, plans, and specifications for systems and components.
• Conduct analyses of system performance; prescribe corrective action where required.
• Troubleshoot systems; may involve calibration and repair work.
• Prepare drawings, schematic diagrams and other documentation associated with components and systems.
• Provide input to and administer project engineering budgets.
• Interact with vendors regarding procurement and delivery issues.
• Participate in project reviews for conformance to quality standards and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned
