University of Louisville seeks a Temporary Research Assistant for the Price Institute of Surgical Research to study colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. The role supports technicians and fellows under supervision to perform routine and non-routine experiments at a professional level.

Requirements include 3+ years of experience or equivalent education, and a Bachelor's degree in a related science field.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a related field of science is required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with basic biochemical tests and data transcription is preferred.

Mansioni

• Aid in routine and non-routine experiments, including RNA and protein work.
• Transcribe and analyze data.
• May assist in maintaining long-term tissue cultures and monitor viability and contamination.
• Perform literature searches and help prepare presentations/written articles for publication.
• All other duties as assigned.
