Job summary

University of Illinois Chicago is seeking an Extra Help Program Coordinator for Commuter and Off-Campus Life (COCL) who will support events, tabling, and operations of the CSRC. This temporary, on-site role focuses on coordinating logistics, staff supervision, and program development to serve transfer, adult, and graduate students.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least one year of related experience; master’s may substitute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• One year of education, training and/or work experience in the area of specialization; master’s may substitute for one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Commuter Student Resource Center administration and supervise staff.
• Coordinate events, tabling and student programs with a budget for COCL initiatives.
• Recruit, select and train student staff for Spring 2027 for the next academic year.
• Plan Off Campus Housing Month and campus fairs and manage related logistics and budget.
• Prepare monthly newsletters for commuter populations including graduate and professional students.
