Job summary

Mendocino College is seeking a Short-Term, Non-Continuing Program Assistant to join the Lake Center in Lakeport, CA. The role is temporary, 5 hours per week, at $20.71 per hour, with Ed Code 88003 allowances for up to 180 days.

Under supervision, the assistant coordinates program activities, handles budgetary transactions, provides customer service, and supports events. Eligibility includes Live Scan, TB test, and at least two years in admin/office settings; AA preferred.

Qualifications

• Must meet HR guidelines including Live Scan background check and TB test.
• At least two years of experience in an administrative/office environment.
• Education: High School Diploma / GED; AA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program activities and interdepartmental transactions.
• Assist with budgetary transactions such as POs and requisitions.
• Provide administrative support: filing, mail, records retention.
• Offer customer service to students and community members.
