This is a temporary 6-month position.

This role supports the mission of the Church by fostering self-reliance, caring for the needy, and providing opportunities for service through activities such as helping members become economically and emotionally self-reliant, providing access to essential food and clothing, assisting in disaster preparedness and response, and delivering humanitarian aid. Under supervision and in accordance with Welfare Services' policies, the incumbent will assist in general labor activities to meet production goals and help maintain a safe, sanitary facility. Duties include assisting on packaging lines, operating minor packaging equipment, stacking products on pallets, preparing packaging lines for daily production, cleaning the facility, and supporting other Production Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist on packaging lines to meet production targets (60%)
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards (20%)
• Prepare packaging lines for daily runs to ensure GMP and quality standards (10%)
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor (10%)

Qualifications

• Ability to learn GMP and quality control principles
• Required interpersonal skills reflecting Welfare Services policies and the Church's image
• Physically capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, bending, kneeling, stooping, and standing for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications
